First-year subjects

In your first year you will study anatomy, physiology, professional skills and animal handling and husbandry of cattle, sheep, dogs, cats and horses. You are not expected to study these subjects prior to starting the programme but you may find the link to some resources interesting to explore and dip into. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons site contains resources created to support students' understanding of animal husbandry when they were unable to go on animal placements due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
