Inside the MySurrey Hive

The University has a whole host of services to support you before and after you start your course. Please don’t be afraid to get in touch if you need help or have any questions.

Before you contact us, we advise you to set up your IT account first. This will help us to ensure that you get the right support as efficiently as possible.

Use it to stay up to date on things happening around campus, the latest events and workshops, and all the key information you need to support you through your studies.

MySurrey Hive

Our MySurrey Hives are your spaces for support and can help you with anything related to your life and studies. Our teams of welcoming Hive Assistants are here Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, to answer your queries and guide you to the right support, when you need it. 

When you arrive, you will be able to visit our MySurrey Hive spaces on both our Stag Hill and Manor Park campuses. You can find them easily by searching on Google Maps.

Surrey Support

This is your dedicated online portal for contacting MySurrey Hive. You will also be able to use it to track and follow up on any questions that you have previously raised.

We recommend searching for answers to your questions first as this is often the quickest way to get answers, but if you do need to speak to us you will be able to find Surrey Support listed at the bottom of our help pages.

Speak to the Centre for Wellbeing for any personal, emotional or psychological issues that you may have. If you are currently receiving support elsewhere we recommend getting in touch before you arrive so that we can arrange the best support for you at Surrey.

Explore the IT Services hub if you need support with accessing your IT account, any of the Office365 software or connecting to wifi on campus.

If needed visit the Library for on campus IT support from a member of the team (during Welcome Week 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday. During semester 10am to 2pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).

The Library is the home of Library and Learning Services, bringing together the spaces, expertise, and materials that support the University community in their learning, teaching, and research journeys.

You can find out about the Library facilities and services on MySurrey. Once you have set up your IT account, you can access the Library online and get academic skills support online.

Abuse, bullying, harassment, hate crime and sexual misconduct are never ok.

All staff, students and visitors to campus can report something anonymously or with their contact details on Report + Support.
