Location and transport

You can walk to Tesco in about 15 minutes via a shared pedestrian and cycle pathway. Surrey Sports Park is located on our Manor Park campus, which is about a 20-minute walk from the Stag Hill campus.

You can also ride the designated University bus routes (1 and 2) from Stag Hill to both Tesco and Manor Park.

The journey takes about seven minutes and buses run up to every 10 minutes through the University campuses on weekdays and every 15–20 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays. The night bus operates six nights per week, Monday to Saturday.

You can either walk 10–15 minutes into town or take any of the University bus routes which stop at the Friary Bus Station in town.

You will be about 2-minutes away from the Library building, which is also where you will find Simply Fresh and the Post Office. Most teaching spaces are only a 5-minute walk too.

You can also find services and facilities such as a convenience store, a laundrette, the University GP and Centre for Wellbeing, cafes and restaurants, and our Students’ Union bar and nightclub within a few minutes’ walk.
